HTN is not yet controlled with BP of 144/86 on
monotherapy with a thiazide diuretic. Denies any
chest pain or palpitations. Lungs are
clear. No edema. I asked the patient to adhere a
little more closely to a low salt diet and come back
next week for a BP check. If still elevated, we
might have to add another medication.
